We use a thermal profiling system to monitor the temperature of the PCB as it goes through the reflow oven. We make sure that the temperature profile meets the requirements of the components and the solder paste. If the temperature is too high or too low, it can cause problems like solder joints that are too brittle or not well – formed.<\/p>\n

After the reflow process, we do another round of AOI. This time, we’re checking the solder joints. The AOI machine can detect things like solder voids, cold solder joints, or excessive solder. We also do in – circuit testing (ICT) for some of the PCBs. ICT involves connecting the PCB to a test fixture and applying electrical signals to check the functionality of the circuits. This helps us find any hidden issues that might not be visible to the naked eye.<\/p>\n

For more complex PCBs, we might also do functional testing. This involves testing the PCB as a whole to make sure it performs the functions it’s designed for. For example, if it’s a PCB for a smartphone, we’ll test things like the camera, the touch screen, and the wireless connectivity.<\/p>\n

We also have a quality management system in place. We document all our processes and inspections, and we keep records of all the quality data. This helps us track any issues that might come up and make improvements over time. We also have regular internal audits to make sure we’re following all the quality control procedures.<\/p>\n
